Hi! My name is Taylor. I work on a dairy farm in Maine. We milk around 70 cows with a few replacement heifers. With about 200 acres of crop land with just me and my boss Brent, we are always busy!! I DREAM of owning my own dairy farm one day and would absolutely love it if y’all would join me on my journey 😃❤️ Tune in Thursdays and Sundays 9 A.M. Can’t wait to farm with ya!!

Just to make it easier, duck tape a broom handle to the scraper, ruff wood 123 strokes dip your brush often, wrap your brushes in plastic big overnight don't have to wash them every day..good job guy's lots of work to do there !!
You should be wearing gloves for the tree work. You need your hands in good shape for milking and when dealing with rough wood is always where someone is going to hurt their hands. Even a sliver is a pain. When I dairy farmed we did almost all small square bales and because I was handling so many, I actually wore winter gloves in the summer becaue they gave me more protection for the facings of my fingers. One of our hired men would claim "real men don't wear gloves." After a few loads of him and I working the hayloft placing bales, he'd ask if he could borrow 1 of my gloves.
Hi Taylor, thank you for another great video, the barn is starting to look really good it’s a big job but it will look great when you guys get it finished
Good morning, Taylor! 70° and hot. It'll be 90° here Saturday. I love winters here in Texas. Paint looks good. Thanks
Ok i am no teacher but sorry the chainsaw is dangerous as you know and its so fast to loose an eye or a leg without safety clothes, you would be surprised so maybe you will use it next time
Very good.
Thank you for watching!
Hi Taylor. You’ve just shown us that you never run out of work when you’re on a farm. You and Brent always complement each other so well when you’re working on a project. You really should be wearing goggles and a hard hat when you are working on those trees. We are all concerned about your safety. Stay positive, keep smiling, and keep those great videos coming. 🐄🚜🌽😉😊
I really enjoy your videos. I often wonder how nice it would be if you were able to acquire an old chipper. It seems like you could make a lot of wood chips just by how many branches you have to deal with every year. Keep up the good work
The hay has been ready to cut in pa, just waiting on the rain to stop
Morning Taylor! Rain rain, same here (Tn) all our grass hay should of been cut two weeks ago,all done headed out and going to seed now. Watching you paint makes me thank the lord all the barns here are metal! I HATE painting! Barn looking good! 🤙
.. I paint completely opposite the way you do ...!
When are you planting corn
Great video 😀🚜👍
Thanks 😊
no offence taylor but i think you should stick to farming, tree work is not in your future, better sharpen the saws is the hereford bull on his way out soon or?
You don't know the Tom Soyer trick? Gotta keep the barn looking good!
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Gonna take some time!😅
It sure is 😳😄
It sure is 😳😄
Good Morning Taylor. Look at you guys go.
First...U ROCK Taylor...!!!!
😀
Good morning.Tay God bless you and Brent ! You and Brent work so hard on the farm I enjoy watching the videos! Can you show us ur bull and how's he doing? Thank you for introducing the cows and can you continue to do that lol I wanna hear all the names.
The girl with the bacteria problem, does it ever go away ?
Great question, short answer would be no. But it’s kinda complicated; they can develop a lining in their udder which prevents the bacteria from getting into their milk but the issue is, they will eventually have that lining breakdown and let the bacteria through again. Basically they never really get over it but they can develop kind of a short term immunity. That being said you would have to test them every day to make sure the bacteria wasn’t getting through so it’s really a difficult situation

Thanks for the memories: when I was young and dumb, I was asked to take the cattle truck up in the field to clean out the back and change the oil. I drained the oil and cleaned out the saw dust / pop. I got called to help on another project. Then I was told to move the cattle truck back into the yard. I forgot I had drained the oil, I started the truck and it didn't sound right, so I turned it off. I was asked if I finished the oil change? 😳 Well, I stop the truck in a sticker patch. So, I had to first find the oil plug, then crawl under the truck (in stickers) screw in the oil plug, then change the filter, and fill the truck with oil. That was the last time I did that mistake.
I was born on a small farm in NH. And worked it for 18 years and then the service. Went to barber school and did that for 52 years I’m now 75 . I love to watch your videos and I still love farms.I Did want to ask what is the lake that is way down behind the Farm?
Great video on the maintenance of equipment to keep the farm going. Welding skills are necessary for the farm maintenence personel.
I'm guessing the tractors being produced now a days, will not enjoy a long life like the 1066 does.
Just love listening to you and your positive attitude is like a drug I'm hucked watching your videos
She is nice 😉
What do you mean by pulled
Wow sure is pretty calf
Getting things fixed is very productive, great job both of you
If you can get a cow on dirt; it works wonders for helping them.
Great Song, Great Work and Beautiful Day!!!
Many thanks!!
Everyday chores relax me. Great vid.
Awesome! Thank you!
Tennessee has no concept of that much snow.
😂
i really like you small farmers, the big ones are boring. i have two favorites in Wisconsin and Minnesota milking about half the cows you. lol it's nice looking at the tractors i was weaned on.
Good job with the manure spending job. Just happy you didn't fall while skating .
😅 thanks! So was I☺️
Play this at half speed and she sounds drunk.
Mowing machines are finicky.
Not necessarily relevant to this video yet relevant to them all. I just wanted to express my gratitude for you being you. I realized a lot of the other ladies who make farm life videos use their "assets" for views. Though you're just as pretty, you are more interested in being your true self and documenting your love of the craft. Thank you for everything you do, and we love you and your content Taylor!
Great video Taylor, I see you're learning a lot from working around the farm❤.
usualy the Co Op may pay for a percentage of that if ya call them. hard to belive he doesn't have a drain for the floor.
We aren’t actually in a co op, there is a drain on the floor?
Are you an organic farm?
Nope not organic 😊
Another great video Taylor interesting to hear your mother’s contribution to the barn build. Btw can I ask how many acres is the farm?❤🚜
With All the things happening lately, this should be a reality show called THE BARN 😆😆😆 .love watching all the things going on with the farm Tay 👍 .
Wanta dance lol
you don' thave to whitewash or paint your wood in the barn? Do you ship grade A milk
Sounds like he use to have jamesway comfot stalls. the arch tiestalls should have worked.
Anytime you don't get shocked, it's a good day.
😂 right!
Is that a grind wheel by the stump?
Representin Tennessee on the back wall, I see. Glad we could contribute.
😂
